I’m not sure if I’m simply insane, or if I’ve finally grown up enough to take on challenges that are a bit scary.
I’m planning to write four books in just over a year. I’m equal parts excited and scared about it. (And I suspect the “scared” side of the equation is going to grow until it overwhelms the “excited” side, so I’m hoping that next May I’ll still be able to remember that this was all my own idea.)
I’ve committed to another Helen Binney Mystery (A DARLING OF DEATH), for release in March 2017. And then — this is the really scary part — three Danger Cove Farmers’ Market mysteries, featuring Maria Dolores and Merle Curtis from “A Killing in the Market,” a novella in the KILLER BEACH READS anthology. They’ve been tentatively scheduled for June, August and October of 2017.
The Helen Binney book is well under way, and the farmers’ market stories are outlined. At least, that’s what I keep reminding myself whenever I start to panic.
In any event, it’s unlikely that I’ll be blogging very often between now and mid-May of 2017. For now, I just wanted you to know that I’m still alive. And writing. Lots.
